A Message from Our Principal

Dear Flag View Intermediate community,

On behalf of the faculty and staff at Flag View Intermediate, we would like to welcome you to the 2021–2022 school year. We are all excited to get started and would like to announce some new teachers to our team at Flag View: Brockton Merrill, Hannah Cook, Cindy DeLeon, Nadina Delgado, and Susan Dahlberg. This letter is meant to provide you with information on our schools' mission, Open House, as well as what your students' first day of school will look like.

Our mission statement is: The Flag View community proactively guides and supports students, as life-long leaders, to reach their potential by being responsible and respectful leaders. We look forward to your continued support, and know that we can accomplish great things together for the betterment of our students.

Open house is currently scheduled for two sessions on August 26, ranging from noon to 4:00 p.m. We are asking that students whose last name falls between A–M, attend the noon to 2:00 p.m. session. Students whose last name falls between N–Z will attend the 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. session.

Your students' first day of school will be on August 30. School days will begin at 8:40 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. Students will go to the gym on their first day where their homeroom teacher will greet their class and show them where to go. Sixth-grade students will have access to a locker, and we encourage families to provide locks. We look forward to working together with the families of our students to provide a safe, productive learning environment. Please feel free to contact our school at (775) 738-7236 should you have any questions or concerns.
