Programs
We believe that to become truly “educated,” students must recognize and develop their intellect, their talents, and their aspirations, so we advocate developing the whole person through various programs and activities. On these pages, you’ll learn more about the programs your child will participate in at Flag View Intermediate School.
Clubs & Activities
Participation in clubs and activities helps students develop a sense of camaraderie and make friendships based on common interests. We encourage students to get involved and have some fun while they learn new skills.
STEM Education
Flag View students bask in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education through Project Lead the Way. We integrate this program throughout our classroom instruction by providing engaging, hands-on classroom environments that inspire our students to reimagine how they see themselves in the world.
Real World Application
Through compelling activities, projects, and problems that build upon each other and relate to the world around them, Project Lead the Way (PLTW) teaches students to adopt a design-thinking mindset. And as students engage in hands-on activities in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science, they become creative, collaborative problem-solvers, ready to take on any challenge.
